Behind the Headlines

Q&A sessions for university groups

Minimum students: 15
Maximum students: 35
Timing: 75 minutes (afternoon usually starting from 2 or 3pm)

The Behind the Headlines team runs sessions for university and higher education groups which take place at our Education Centre in London. During the session students have an introduction to Guardian and Observer covering the organisation’s history, a typical news day, online audience and news consumption and will participate in a question and answer session with a member of editorial or commercial staff. Please note we do not offer tours of the building.

We charge a fee for these sessions. If you are interested in registering for a session please complete the form below and we will be in contact with further information.

We also run virtual sessions for initial teacher training including university PGCE courses. You can find out more on our teacher training page.
A big thank you for hosting the Oregon journalism students. They were really pleased to visit the Guardian and to be able to pose questions directly to such senior journalists.
