Behind the Headlines: Media careers insight week
Monday 27th September - Monday 1st October 2021
We launched our Behind the Headlines media careers insight week on 27th September. This is an opportunity for young people interested in careers in media to hear from professionals working in the field – from journalists to filmmakers to programmers. The week gives individuals a deeper understanding of the industry as well as tips and advice for breaking into it themselves.
Find out about our recent journalism masterclasses for 16-21 year olds and get some great tips on video journalism from Producer and presenter Leah Green and on sound design from Composer and sound designer Axel Kacoutié.
Hugo Young Award
The Hugo Young Award, our political opinion writing award for young people, runs every year. Find out more about competition for aspiring journalists.
